Call for applications to support collaborative research projects between Japan and Europe in the field of AI-powered robotics - EU Funding Call for research proposals focused on the development of AI-powered robotics. This initiative seeks to fund collaborative projects between researchers in Japan and Europe to create adaptive, autonomous systems capable of functioning in dynamic and human-centered environments.
Thte primary goal of this funding is to address complex scientific challenges while delivering tangible solutions to societal needs, such as elderly care, industrial productivity, and disaster response.
Proposals may explore a wide range of technologies, including: Machine Learning and Deep Learning (ML/DL); Computer Vision and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping); Natural Language Processing (NLP) for robot programming; and Human-Robot Interaction and co-manipulation.
