Aim for Employment Program

Aim for Employment Program is sponsored by Gouvernement du Québec (Ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale). The Aim for Employment Program provides ongoing and individualized support, along with financial assistance, to help individuals enter the labour market and achieve financial autonomy. It includes activities to look for a job, develop work skills, and develop social skills.

Aim for Employment Program | Quebec | Benefits Wayfinder Aim for Employment Program To get this benefit you need to first apply for the following benefit(s) if you're eligible: The Aim for Employment Program is a 12-month employment assistance program available to recipients of Social Assistance. Participants are initially assessed by an employment- assistance officer.

Participants must follow and complete an individualized labour market entry plan which includes: Participation in this program is determined by your eligibility for Social Assistance . Participants will receive the basic benefit amount $800 along with adjustment depending on their eligibility and work income. The maximum allowable work income for this program is $200 for one adult and $300 for two adults.

If the work income exceeds the allowable amount, additional amounts will be deducted from the monthly benefit. Participants may also receive additional sums to their monthly benefit including: adjustments for dependent children Identification and documents required Documents listed in this section are examples of what can be included with your application.

For example: Birth certificate or birth registration Hospital record of birth or record of the physician/nurse/midwife who attended the birth Record of landing or confirmation of permanent residence issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Note of decision or temporary resident’s permit issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act Certificate of Indian status card Proof of residency in Province/ Territory vehicle registration or car insurance membership in social or professional organization A document showing citizenship or immigration status in Canada.
