AIMS for Excellence – Diaspora for Lebanon is sponsored by Diaspora for Lebanon. This program considers exceptional proposals in biomedical sciences from Lebanese Universities, with a special emphasis on four major topics strategically important for Lebanon and global human health.

Global Initiative to Promote Educational Excellence in Biomedical Sciences Support Patients with Cancer in Lebanon Since October 2019, Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and its university hospital, Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF), have been facing the three biggest crises of their existence. Despite all these difficulties, the HDF has decided to pursue its mission and has launched humanitarian initiatives to assist patients.

These Initiatives’ overarching goal is to promote excellence in Lebanon, support Lebanese universities in their mission as leaders in academic excellence, and more generally, foster collaborations at the national, regional, and international levels in the fields of science and medicine.
