Supplemental Grant Program - Innovate Alabama Supplemental Grant Program Applications are currently closed. grants@innovatealabama. org The Innovate Alabama Supplemental Grant Program provides additional resources for small businesses whose proven business models and technologies are helping accelerate innovation in the state.
Small businesses who have an active Phase I or Phase II Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant are eligible for non-dilutive funding from the Innovate Alabama Supplemental Grant Program. This unique grant program provides support for recipients who do not need to exchange shares of their company for the grant.
These businesses have proven through scientific review that their technologies are viable, valuable and scalable. Move your idea from concept to commercialization. Stay tuned for details on upcoming rounds of the Innovate Alabama Supplemental Grant Program.
Innovate Alabama has awarded more than $17 million in grant funding. That funding supports small businesses and university inventors whose proven business models and technologies will help advance Alabama’s regional and national economic footprint.
Innovate Alabama Supplemental Grant recipients can utilize these funds to support and grow their businesses, through: Business Plan Development Intellectual Property Protection We appreciate the support of the State, the Innovate Alabama Board, its committee, and all the others involved in getting this program off the ground and successfully executed for the first round.
