AHS Foundation has raised millions of dollars in support of AHS’s mission of Caring, Healing, Teaching, Serving All .
The philanthropic investment that comes from foundations, corporations, community organizations, and individuals help fund equipment, programs, and services that help ensure the delivery of high quality care to everyone in need. AHS Foundation is committed to advancing health equity in the communities served by AHS through Increasing Access to Quality Care, Addressing Unmet Social Needs, and Building a Community-Centered Workforce.
We believe that health equity will be achieved when everyone has a fair and just opportunity to be healthy which requires much more than providing access to quality medical care. We believe in breaking down obstacles to health including poverty and racism, lack of access to quality education and housing, well-paying jobs, safe environments, and health care.
Our ultimate goal is to build generational health and wealth and to improve the overall wellbeing of the communities we serve.
