If you'd like to be notified when new comments are posted, enter your email below (separate multiple addresses with commas) Alaska Clean Water Actions Grant Program - Request for Proposals for State Fiscal Years 2023 - 2025 DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION: ALASKA CLEAN WATER ACTIONS GRANT PROGRAM REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR STATE FISCAL YEARS 2023-2025 The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Division of Water, Alaska Clean Water Actions (ACWA) grant program is requesting proposals for projects that protect or improve water quality from nonpoint source pollution.
Proposals are due November 9 by 11:59 p. m. and must use the online application available on the ACWA Request for Proposals (RFP) webpage.
DEC is excited to announce the availability of over one million dollars in ACWA grant funds that can be used to improve or protect water quality throughout Alaska. New this year is all match matching fund requirements are being waived! We are also emphasizing projects that utilize green infrastructure techniques to reduce polluted runoff water.
See the ACWA RFP webpage for details What is the time frame and what types of projects will be accepted? Project proposals will be accepted for implementation during a two-year calendar period, 2023-2025. Projects will begin March 1, 2023 and must be completed by February 28, 2025.
Several categories of projects will be considered for funding. The categories are: Restoration and implementation of best management practices (BMPs) including green infrastructure. Projects that address stormwater runoff through designing and installing green infrastructure are highly encouraged.
