**Anti-bullying and youth violence prevention****:**Grants (up to $20,000) to support anti-bullying and youth violence prevention programming. This funding is specifically targeted toward schools, after-school programs, and community-based organizations serving and engaging youth within Albany County.
**Parks and Playgrounds**: Grants (up to $15,000) for upgrading current parks and playgrounds or developing new recreational facilities throughout the County, to help improve the lives of the residents and visitors of the County of Albany. **Tobacco and substance use prevention in schools**: Grants (up to $20,000) for programs addressing the alarming rise in tobacco, vaping, and substance use among teens and young adults _.
_ **Women's health support**: Grants (up to $20,000) for programs promoting women's health through education, service distribution, and promotion of resources, including specific programs such as health screenings, workshops, mental health services, and community outreach initiatives. **Note:** Organizations previously awarded in each area may still be eligible to receive funding if the funding is intended for new projects.
However, preference will be given to new applicants.
