* Complete the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Candidate Registration online(link is external). (Note: NYSED is a third-party payer for funding. Under the “Agreements” tab in NBPTS registration, you **MUST** elect to have your name released to third-party agencies in order to receive funding.)
Pay the annual NBPTS registration fee and register. **Step 3 of the online application: Verification must be submitted and include:** * A copy of the Registration Receipt with NBPTS; and * A copy of the completed Candidate Tenure attestation. Please email verification to: shankergrant@nysed.
