All Kids Bike Learn-to-Ride Program Grants (P3R) is sponsored by P3R. P3R supports programs that introduce kindergarten and first-grade students to biking through balance bikes and a physical education curriculum. Grants can fund equipment like teacher instruction bikes to demonstrate riding skills and bike safety techniques.

Learning to Ride a Bike This Year Learning to Ride in the Next 10 Years with Programs in Place We believe every child in America deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, and independence that comes from learning to ride a bike.

The All Kids Bike program was established in 2018 to address the growing concern that many children in the United States were not learning to ride bicycles—a fundamental childhood milestone with significant physical, mental, and social To teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.

The All Kids Bike program is a ready-to-teach curriculum and a fully-equipped fleet designed for schools, providing everything needed to teach children how to ride. Training, Certification AND Curriculum The program features an 8-lesson, ready-to-teach curriculum, aligned with national SHAPE America standards.

All participating instructors complete online training and certification, equipping them with best practices for safely and effectively teaching the balance bike method to kindergarteners.

After the initial program is delivered, schools continue to receive support through access to staff training at no additional cost—ideal for onboarding new teachers due to staff turnover. In addition, schools have the opportunity to purchase additional bikes, helmets, and pedal kits at a discounted rate, ensuring the program can grow and adapt as student needs evolve. “We just finished up our bike program at Northridge.
