Alliance Medical Education Scholarship (AMES) | Foundation Alliance Medical Education Scholarship (AMES) 2026-2027 Academic Year Award In 2026-2027, multiple $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to qualified medical students.
Applications are accepted July 1st - September 30th The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society is pleased to administer the Alliance Medical Education Scholarship (AMES) for Pennsylvania residents attending a Pennsylvania medical school as a second- or third-year student.
To financially assist Pennsylvania residents enrolled in a Pennsylvania medical school, the Pennsylvania Medical Society Alliance established the Alliance Medical Education Scholarship (AMES) Fund in April of 2000. The Alliance ceased in existence in June 2019, however their legacy and commitment to the education of medical students continues through this scholarship.
The Pennsylvania Medical Society Alliance is the volunteer voice of the family of medicine, dedicated to healthy communities and the preservation of the doctor-patient relationship.
