Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Educational Advancement Foundation Graduate Scholarships (Merit and Need-Based) is sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation, Inc. (AKA EAF). Scholarships are one-time awards based on merit or need, available to sophomore and beyond full-time students earning degrees at accredited institutions. Fellowships are awarded to individuals and organizations working on projects or research to improve quality of life for others. They do not require enrollment in an academic institution.

Endowments are awarded based on criteria specified by the donor. Most individuals are eligible for at least one of our education endowments. Community Assistance Awards Community Assistance Awards are designated to assist individuals and organizations for specific civic, educational or human service programs.

We support initiatives designed and implemented by those who know their community’s needs best and leverage funds in a manner that does the most good. Eligible projects must address one of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s Signature Program Initiatives.
