Continued Funding Application Child Care and Development Contractor Resources Continued Funding Application Continued and Expansion Funding Application (CEFA) On an annual basis, contractors for the program types shown below are required to submit an application for continued funding to the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Child Care and Development Division.
Beginning with the FY 2026-27 application, the Continued Funding Application (CFA) will be upgraded to the Continued and Expansion Funding Application (CEFA). This new application includes an Interest in Expansion section for existing General Child Care and Development Program (CCTR) contractors to express interest in expansion funding, subject to availability .
