Partner with CSR implementing agency - Ambuja Foundation PARTNERSHIPS TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A BIGGER IMPACT Ambuja Foundation is a grassroots implementing NGO in India, over the past few decades, has developed an expertise in ‘last mile reach’ and ‘community mobilisation. ’ Working hand in hand with like-minded organisations, we generate prosperity in rural communities.

We collaborate and work with a variety of partners, to help them implement their on-ground programs and make lasting change in rural communities.

With over 100 partners across 14 states and 2 Union territories, Ambuja Foundation is experienced in designing, managing and implementing rural development projects in partnership with: Ambuja Foundation partners with many state governments to implement a variety of schemes in the areas of water, skills, agriculture, women, health and education.

Ambuja Foundation has the capacity to manage large scale projects, working with multiple stakeholders - delivering tangible, on-ground impacts. Ambuja Foundation is the CSR implementation agency of many corporate partners. With proven project models, the ability to measure impact and meet detailed reporting requirements, Ambuja Foundation makes the perfect CSR implementing partner.

Ambuja Foundation partners with individual philanthropists and family foundations to implement development projects in communities they are passionate about or closely connected to. With deep grassroots presence, community trust, and expertise in designing high-impact interventions, Ambuja Foundation ensures that philanthropic intent is translated into meaningful, sustainable outcomes on the ground.

Ambuja Foundation has collaborated with a variety of Indian and International non-profit organisations. Our widespread reach across rural communities, and beneficiary groups (Women, Farmers and Youth) provide non-profits with instant access to target communities. A unique aspect of Ambuja Foundation’s work is our partnership with the community itself.

Across all programs, we ensure communities invest in projects, harnessing both financial and in-kind contributions to ensure local ownership and ‘buy in’. In 2017, Ambuja Foundation joined hands with banking giant HDFC Bank Parivartan as a CSR implementation partner to address a variety of community issues.

Sharing a similar vision to generate sustainable livelihood in rural India, HDFC Bank Parivartan invested in the project while Ambuja Foundation drove the implementation with rigour. The shared vision of this partnership has led to over 20 active projects in 10 states positively impacting for the betterment of livelihoods the most vulnerable of rural india.

One of Ambuja Foundation’s most significant government partner is agri-giant, NABARD, who has invested 1. 7 crore in 2024-25 across water, skills, agriculture, women, health and education with Ambuja Foundation.

The collaboration which kickstarted in 2008 and continues till date is a natural win-win for both organisations, and the communities with which they work – and with so much work to do across the country, there is great scope for the partnership in the future.

In 2010, Better Cotton, an international not-for-profit membership organization, and Ambuja Foundation connected and found common ground - one was looking for farmers to educate, the other looking for ways to build the capacities of their farmers. Since then, the two have been instrumental in enhancing the cotton practices and livelihoods of over 2. 1 lakh cotton farmers.

REVIVAL OF A SPRING, HIMACHAL PRADESH The community is a crucial stakeholder and Ambuja Foundation ensures they invest (either financially or in kind) in each and every project to ensure local “buy-in”. Nowhere was this better seen, than in Banli village, where women once walked miles for water.

Here, four Self-Help Groups mobilised to revive a drying spring—digging trenches, planting trees, building a percolation pond, and monitoring water flow. With Ambuja Foundation’s support and collective ownership, discharge increased by 60%, livelihoods improved, and 30 more bouris across the region are now being restored.

We currently have a footprint across 14 states, 2 Union territories and 4297 villages, but have identified an additional 81 districts for development. These districts fare very poorly on development indicators, where quality of human life is abysmal.
