To be considered for a philanthropic grant or sponsorship from Ameren, please review the following criteria before applying: Be in, or provide services to, a community in which Ameren has a business presence Be a nonprofit (i.e., be exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and not a private foundation, as defined in Section 509(a) of the Code) Align with Ameren values and purpose Provide a platform to educate, engage and build relationships Provide a platform to educate, engage and build relationships Increase brand awareness and boost brand reputation Create a positive distinction within the industry or community Provide employee engagement opportunities Potential for long-term, sustainable partnership Grants are typically awarded to nonprofit organizations to support specific projects, programs or general operations.
Sponsorships are usually provided to support charitable or community events.
Philanthropic grants and sponsorships are not given to: Individuals (including those seeking direct scholarships) Political parties, organizations or activities Religious organizations for religious (denominational) purposes Conferences, unless they are where Ameren has a business presence Multiple contributions to the same institution in a calendar year Please contact us by email should you have any questions.
