Use our secure online tool to access the Granting Portal and: Add or manage grant recommendations View granting history and fund balance AEF’s Grant Recommendation Verification Process includes six simple steps to support your favorite causes and charities. Step 1: Submit a Grant Recommendation The donor or their authorized individual submits an online grant recommendation through the online Granting Portal.
Once the grant recommendation is received, AEF completes a due-diligence process, which includes qualifying the charity and validating the purpose of the grant. Step 3: Grant Funds are Requested Upon completion of the due-diligence process, AEF sends a letter of authorization (LOA) to transfer funds to the financial advisor ’ s designated recipient on file at AEF.
Step 4: Grant Funds are Received The Financial Advisor transfers the funds via ACH or wire to AEF. Step 5: Charities Receive the Funds AEF will issue a grant letter to notify the charity that a grant has been paid to them. Organizations benefit, change occurs, lives are enriched.
