That’s why the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation is working to show young people that their dreams are not only attainable but worth the effort.
The Foundation supports charities, educational initiatives and organizations aimed at building strong families and healthy kids, empowering them to chase and achieve their dreams. Since 2016, the American Family Insurance Championship has raised $21. 7 million for charity.
During that time, the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation has distributed 1,117 grants to organizations that support strong families and healthy kids. Tournament Primary Beneficiary: American Family Children’s Hospital American Family Children’s Hospital is a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center featuring nationally recognized pediatric specialists in a wide range of fields.
Located in Madison, Wisconsin, the American Family Children’s Hospital is ranked as a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News and World Report.
With more than 230 faculty physicians from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, expert nursing and therapeutic staff and state of the art medical equipment, American Family Children’s Hospital is one of the crown jewels of not only the Greater Madison area, but the entire region.
The American Family Insurance Championship is proud to support the American Family Children’s Hospital and other local organizations through the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. Each year in August, the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance hosts a grant cycle when nonprofit organizations serving communities in south-central and southeastern Wisconsin can apply for grant funding.

Foundation Scholarship Program Since 2019, American Family Insurance and the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation have committed to funding scholarships for local high school students. The scholarship program awards two deserving local high school seniors who meet the criteria and live in the Wisconsin counties of Dane or Rock, each receiving a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500 per year up to a total of four years).
