Potential applicants will apply to operate an AmeriCorps program solely in West Virginia utilizing at least 5 AmeriCorps members beginning in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Successful applicants will be notified by mid-June 2026 . Successful applicants will be issued awards mid-August 2026 . Volunteer West Virginia will not be using eGrants to collect Formula Applications this year as per AmeriCorps requirements.
Instead, we will be using another application platform via America Learns. We are still in the process of setting up this new system. The information required to complete a formula application is not changing.
Applicants will still be required to input the information outlined in the 2026 Formula Application Instructions. It will just be entered on a platform other than eGrants. We will communicate with applicants directly about how to use and access this new platform.

Technical Assistance & Questions Volunteer West Virginia encourages applicants to watch our application development webinars that are available to all applicants through On3Learn, a vendor experienced with developing AmeriCorps programs.
