Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research Program (ALSRP) Therapeutic Idea Award (TIA) is sponsored by Department of Defense (DOD) Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The FY25 ALSRP TIA supports new, innovative, high-risk, high-gain ideas aimed at Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) drug or therapy discovery.
Supported studies are expected to be hypothesis-driven and generate preliminary data for future therapeutic investigations. Development and/or modification of preclinical model systems or the application of high-throughput screens to define or assess lead compounds for ALS treatment may also be proposed.
