_ The Adaptive Sports Equipment Grant is part of the CAF Annual Grant Program, created to give athletes with permanent physical disabilities access to the high-quality equipment they need to pursue their sport. CAF partners with world-class equipment vendors to make more than 90 pieces of adaptive sports equipment available at discounted pricing, ensuring grant funds go further and athletes get the gear they need to excel.

### **Eligibility Requirements** * Open to individuals in the U.S. with a permanent physical disability * Teams, organizations, or groups are not eligible * Hearing impairments, intellectual, and developmental disabilities do not qualify * Must provide medical verification of disability * Must provide 1 year of required financial documentation and letters of recommendation * May apply every 3 years if under 18, or every 5 years if 18 and over _Are you an Idaho resident?

Our Idaho grants follow a different application process. _ **>>EXPLORE IDAHO GRANTS<<** Adults — Equipment Grant Eligibility Youth — Equipment Grant Eligibility Age 17 and under as of March 31 (end of fiscal year) Equipment grants are highly competitive and awarded to applicants who demonstrate both financial need and a strong commitment to their sport or fitness.

Grants will only be awarded for equipment that is appropriate based on the applicant’s experience level and dedication to their sport.
