This is an Annual Program Statement, outlining our funding priorities, the strategic themes we focus on, and the procedures for submitting requests for funding. The objectives of the Public Diplomacy Grant Program are to build capacity and community, promote social good, and enhance mutual understanding between the people of Libya and the United States. The U.S. Embassy to Libya is seeking projects that: Capitalize on arts initiatives to increase unity, social cohesion, and reconciliation that deepen Libyan national identity and are consistent with U.S. values. Promote leadership, positive community engagement, volunteerism, entrepreneurship, and soft skills development among youth, women, and underserved communities.
