U.S. Embassy MEXICO CITY PD Annual Program Statement is sponsored by U.S. Mission to Mexico, Department of State. The U.S. Mission in Mexico invites proposals for programs that strengthen cultural ties and mutual understanding between the U.S. and Mexico through cultural, economic, educational, professional, and exchange programming. Programs should highlight shared values and promote bilateral cooperation, and must include a U.S. cultural element or connection with U.S. experts, organizations, or institutions. Programs that include multiple states and/or promote increased collaboration and networking between USG program alumni are encouraged. Priority areas include academic and professional lectures, artistic and cultural workshops, cultural heritage conservation, professional and academic exchanges, and promotion of entrepreneurship for indigenous and Afro-Mexican community programs.

Annual Grant Program is sponsored by The Elkins Foundation. The Elkins Foundation provides funding to strengthen the Houston community by supporting educational, healthcare, cultural, community, and religious organizations. The trustees prioritize specific capital needs and discrete projects over ongoing operational support, endowment funds, or annual giving campaigns. The foundation typically avoids funding the same organization in consecutive years to ensure a wide distribution of resources.
