5 million in funding for Pennsylvania Industry Partnership Grant awards of up to $200,000 for single local workforce development area initiatives or $350,000 for regional or statewide initiatives. If applying as a multiple local area initiative, applicants must name a fiscal agent and describe how they plan to coordinate. Only one partnership in an individual industry sector will be awarded per regional initiative.
The Department of Labor and Industry may set grant awards at amounts lesser than $200,000/$350,000.
This Notice of Grant Availability (NGA) seeks applications to support Industry Partnership initiatives across PA that:</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Work to identify workforce, education and training, and economic development needs of businesses and workers within a priority industry sector and proposed project area</li>\r\n<li>Coordinate regional teams to support industry needs</li>\r\n<li>Identify public and community resources to address industry identified needs</li>\r\n<li>Increase collaboration among businesses within a targeted industry sector</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>Together, we expect IP-funded programs to benefit businesses and employees alike with the goal of Pennsylvania businesses and residents thriving.

The purpose of this NGA is to competitively award one applicant to support individuals incarcerated in minimum- or low-security federal prisons in Pennsylvania and prepare them for reentry to the community through individualized reentry planning such as, pre-release workforce training, job search preparation, and reintegration success strategies, coupled with multi-faceted post-release supports and services.
