IARPA - Artificial Reasoning for Circuit Automation and Design Engineering (ARCADE) - Defence Science Institute IARPA – Artificial Reasoning for Circuit Automation and Design Engineering (ARCADE) IARPA – Artificial Reasoning for Circuit Automation and Design Engineering (ARCADE) IARPA is seeking White Papers relating to transforming and accelerating electrical circuit design by leveraging AI to develop a comprehensive AI-knowledge assistant, extracting key information from vast technical documentation to enable engineers to perform quick, intuitive queries to meet the speed of mission.
Non-US organisations can participate as sub-contractors to US organisations. ARCADE aims to suggest and recommend optimal components based on design requirements, constraints, and performance parameters more efficiently than manually sifting through thousands of technical documents.
Task Area (a): Intelligent data ingestion and interpretation – accurately and efficiently ingest technical documentation automatically Task Area (b): Intelligent query and retrieval – intelligently retrieve information from the knowledge base Task Area (c) : Intelligent assistant for component selection – measuring accuracy and time to provide trustworthy component recommendation for electrical design engineers using natural language and/or keyword search queries.
ARCADE is an 12-month program with 2 phases of 6 months each. This call is issued under the US Department of the Interior/IARPA Emerging Technology Accelerator Program (DOI-ETA-FY-26-30) . White papers are due 30 June 2026 .
