Arconic Foundation - Arconic - Arconic Portal Arconic Foundation partners with nonprofit and community organizations to enhance education through skill-building learning experiences and advance environmental sustainability. Arconic Foundation is independently endowed and invests in the communities of Arconic.
In nearly every community around the world in which Arconic has a major presence, a local Arconic Foundation Ambassador works on behalf of Arconic Foundation, partnering with charitable organizations to collaboratively strengthen our communities and advance the Foundation’s mission.
The work of Arconic Foundation is further enhanced by the thousands of Arconic employee volunteers who share their talents and time to make a difference in their communities.
Arconic Foundation Funding Priorities Education: Arconic Foundation seeks partnerships to create skill-building learning experiences that enhance individual opportunity, specifically within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and manufacturing workforce development. Environmental Sustainability: Arconic Foundation seeks partnerships to protect the natural environment, increase recycling, and ensure a sustainable future.
Human Needs: Arconic Foundation seeks partnerships to meet the basic needs of people in our communities. Focus areas include food security, health, housing, community safety, and disaster relief. Please note that this funding priority is applicable to Location Grantmaking only.
Nonprofit partnerships are selected based on the funding priorities and local needs. Arconic Foundation is funded through an independent endowment and invests in specific priority communities. Priority communities are those in which Arconic has a significant presence.
Arconic Foundation conducts grantmaking at two levels, Signature and Location. Signature grantmaking is typically multi-community, regional, or national in scope. Location grantmaking includes organizations operating programs within or near a single priority community.
When considering grant opportunities, Arconic Foundation seeks grant projects that: Produce measurable results. Incorporate financial sustainability. Include employee engagement opportunities.
Promote visibility through an effective communications strategy. Demonstrate commitment to equitable opportunities for all. Grant applications to Arconic Foundation are by invitation only.
Organizations must meet the following basic requirements to be considered for an Arconic Foundation grant. This list of requirements is a summary and is not intended to be comprehensive. Align with Arconic Foundation’s mission and funding priorities.
Serve communities in which Arconic has facilities or offices. U.S. organizations must be classified by the United States Internal Revenue Service as not-for-profit public charities and tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
Non-U.S. organizations must operate as the equivalent of a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity, public educational institution or government entity, and must complete the required equivalency determination process to certify this status. Public educational institutions and government entities may be eligible for funds, provided that the funds are used for charitable purposes.
