ARG Start-Up Grant

ARG Start-Up Grant is sponsored by North Kesteven District Council (UK). This grant supports businesses established on or after April 12, 2021. Priority is given to businesses in the Retail, Hospitality, or Leisure sectors.

Applicants must submit a Business and Financial Plan and be in a position to match-fund any potential award amount.

North Kesteven District Council sent this bulletin at 22-10-2021 11:37 AM BST The ARG Start-Up Grant is still open for applications; this support is available to businesses established on or after 12 April 2021. We are accepting applications from all sectors however priority will be given to those businesses that operate or will look to operate within the Retail, Hospitality or Leisure sectors.

As part of the application process, you will be required to submit a Business and Financial Plan which will be assessed by qualified business advisors who will work with you to support and drive your business forward. Applicants should be in a position to match-fund any potential award amount. Grants can only be awarded to businesses at point of trading.

The ARG Adapt & Revive Grant The ARG Adapt & Revive grant is still open for applications, more information can be found on the Business NK website or the policy here .

We have made the first payments to applicants under this scheme and are still validating ongoing applications. All businesses will be contacted in due course whether their application was successful or not.

UK's path to net zero set out in landmark strategy A landmark Net Zero Strategy setting out how the UK will secure 440,000 well-paid jobs and unlock £90 billion in investment in 2030 on its path to ending its contribution to climate change by 2050 was unveiled by the UK government on Tuesday (19 October).

Building on the Prime Minister’s 10 Point Plan, the UK Net Zero Strategy sets out a comprehensive economy-wide plan for how British businesses and consumers will be supported in making the transition to clean energy and green technology. More information can be found here.

Sleaford Careers Fair 2022 Carre's Grammar School are hosting a Sleaford careers fair on Friday 25 March at St George's Academy in Sleaford, timings are yet to be confirmed.
