We have multiple grant programs to address a variety of needs facing Arkansans. Read below to find out the different grant opportunities we offer: Tree is Arkansas Community Foundation’s signature grant program.
Giving Tree endowments are pooled charitable funds at the local and state levels that make annual grants through two competitive grant cycles. These funds support a variety of causes based on changing community needs. Committees of local leaders in each of our 29 affiliate offices determine the best use of Giving Tree grant funds.
By providing unique insight about each local community and its needs, these leaders ensure Giving Tree funds are used wisely for the long-term. Are you with a nonprofit organization? The Community Foundation has joined forces with Excel by Eight to help every child in Arkansas read at grade level by the end of third grade. The Community Foundation’s Food Security focus area is aimed at reducing food insecurity and increasing the number of Arkansans who have consistent, secure access to healthy food.
Arkansas Community Foundation occasionally offers donor-driven grant cycles, fully funded and designated by donors to address specific needs for certain causes and/or specific geographic areas.
