gov The Arkansas Literacy Tutoring Grant Program offers families a valuable opportunity to access high-quality, state-approved literacy tutors at no cost. Through this program, the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education connects eligible students with trusted, effective tutoring support designed to accelerate literacy growth.
Districts are required to notify families when their student is eligible for the Literacy Tutoring Grant Program. The ADE will inform superintendents of eligible students in two stages, aligned to the established priority groups, for the $1,500 Literacy Tutoring Grant.
first stage of grant award letters were released through the digital locker in November 2025 for grade 3 students who are determined to be at risk according to the SY26 K-3 ATLAS Screener.
