Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund The Department of Administration manages the following Fiscal year (FY) 2026-27 Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund grants per Minnesota Session Laws- 2025, Chapter 36, Article 4, Section 2, Subdivision 6.
This appropriation states that the commissioner of administration may use a portion of the appropriation for costs that are directly related to and necessary for the administration of grants in the subdivision. The Department of Administration is claiming 3. 5% in State Fiscal Year 2026 and 4% in State Fiscal Year 2027 to administer Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund grants in the FY26-27 biennium.

legacy. mn. gov/ Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (AMPERS) $1,502,505 the first year and $1,974,720 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.

$127,380 the first year and $126,720 the second year are to the Lake Superior Zoo to develop educational exhibits and programs.
$193,000 the first year and $192,000 the second year are to the Great Lakes Aquarium for a lake sturgeon project, including an exhibit and public education on lake sturgeon, in cooperation with the commissioner of natural resources, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, and United States Fish and Wildlife Services.
$72,375 the first year and $72,000 the second year are for a grant to The Bakken Museum for interactive exhibits and outreach programs on arts and cultural heritage. Jerome Early-Career Project Grants is a grant from Forecast Public Art, funded by the Jerome Foundation, that funds the creation of new public art projects by early-career artists based in Minnesota.
