AHFP recognizes the impact of individual artists and humanities practitioners within the District and supports the vitality that those individuals bring to the local community. FY 2027 AHFP Request for Applications The Commission on the Arts and Humanities seeks applications for the FY26 Arts and Humanities Fellowship Program (AHFP).
5 pm ET, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 Total Amount of Funding to be Awarded Contingent upon budget availability Anticipated Number of Awards: Contingent upon number of applicants Expected Amount of Individual Awards October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027 Workshops and Live Chats: Incomplete or late applications or applications that do not follow the instructions and guidelines will be automatically deemed ineligible for review and funding.
