Purpose of Program: Under section 6 of the AT Act, the Secretary is authorized to provide grants to support national activities to improve the administration of the AT Act.

According to section 3(15) of the AT Act, the term ``State AT program'' means a program authorized under section 4 of the AT Act. State AT programs are required to collect data and report on the activities they conduct to determine whether those activities are conducted appropriately and successfully and to assess the outcomes of those activities.

Section 6(b)(5) of the AT Act authorizes support to assist State AT Programs with this data collection and reporting. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 84. 224B.
