The Atlanta Women’s Foundation is focused on lifting women and girls out of poverty and creating stronger communities across metro Atlanta.

Since 1998, we’ve invested more than $32 million in programs that improve the lives of women and girls and their families in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties. AWF raises funds from the community and invests in local nonprofits through a collective impact model. This model amplifies the work of organizations serving women and girls across metro Atlanta.

By funding what works—and working together—we maximize impact and drive systemic change. Beyond our role as a funder, AWF serves as an educator and connector. We provide philanthropic leadership training, conduct research, and build powerful networks through events that inform, inspire, and catalyze action.
