gov The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) seeks to advance its mission by continuing support for the Atopic Dermatitis Research Network (ADRN) program.
This program will support research centers across the United States conducting interdisciplinary and translational research to further improve our understanding of skin immunology and defense mechanisms by focusing on differences between individuals with atopic dermatitis and healthy controls in skin immune responses, structure, and function.
Also supported under the ADRN is the conduct of single site pilot trials or observational studies and opportunities for junior investigators to build a research background and foster independence. Grant authorities that allow NIAID to forecast this opportunity are as follows: Sections 301 and 405 of the Public Health Service Act as amended (42 USC 241 and 284) and under Federal Regulations 42 CFR Part 52 and 2 CFR Part 200.
