Posted on: October 12, 2022 [ARCHIVED] Department of Law and Public Safety (DLPS) Law Enforcement Grants Department of Law and Public Safety (DLPS) Law Enforcement Grants The Department of Law and Public Safety (DLPS) in the Office of the Attorney General, has announced two competitive grants available to law enforcement agencies in New Jersey funded through the state’s allocation from the American Rescue Plan Act – Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund (CSFRF) for the Automated License Plate Reader Initiative and the Gunshot Detection Technology Initiative.
Automated License Plate Reader Initiative The purpose of the Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Initiative (PDF) is to provide grant funding to law enforcement agencies to acquire, implement, expand, or upgrade ALPR technology for implementation in the communities they serve. $4.
75 million in grant funds will be awarded on a competitive basis to law enforcement agencies in New Jersey supported by statistical data and awarded pursuant to the quality of the application submitted and the pending availability of funding. Deadline to Apply: October 15 Gunshot Detection Technology Initiative The Gunshot Detection Technology Initiative (PDF) is to provide grant funding to law enforcement agencies to acquire, implement, expand, or upgrade gunshot detection technology for implementation in the communities they serve.
The state is making available $7 million encompassing CSFRF Grant Funding from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, to support the Gunshot Detection Technology Initiative. These funds will be awarded on a competitive basis, supported by statistical data, and awarded pursuant to the quality of the application submitted and the pending availability of funding.

California State Nonprofit Security Grant Program (CSNSGP) is a grant from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services that funds target hardening and security enhancements for nonprofit organizations at high risk for violent attacks and hate crimes due to their ideology, beliefs, or mission.
