What is the AWIEF Academic Grant Program? The AWIEF Academic Grant Program empowers schools specializing in architectural woodworking. Annually, we provide up to $100,000 to these institutions, with a vision to disburse $1,000,000 over the next decade.

We prioritize not-for-profit schools that excel in architectural woodworking, emphasizing technological advancements and skillful craftsmanship. This support ensures that the industry's future aligns with AWI's standards of innovation and excellence. Not-for-profit secondary and post-secondary schools.

Must have a recognized architectural woodworking program. Schools should demonstrate significant technological advancements and skills specific to architectural woodworking. Application Process & Deadlines Securing an AWIEF grant is a straightforward process built on transparency and fairness.

We invite you to join us on this exciting path. Start Your Grant Application *Grant application opening this fall! After you submit your application, we will evaluate your application and assess its eligibility and suitability for the grant.

Once approved, you will receive a notification informing you whether you have been selected as a grant recipient or not. If your application is successful and you are selected as the grant recipient, we will send you the grant to support your project or endeavor. AWIEF offers grant funding to technical schools, emphasizing our dedication to the woodworking industry.
