The competition seeks innovative solutions that enable development of recombinant hemagglutinin protein or inactivated virus vaccines that provide protection in a single visit. ### ReadyDetect: Blood Sampling Competition $5 million competition to advance next-generation capillary blood self-collection and processing devices for point-of-need diagnostics.
Seeks solutions that support diagnostic testing across BARDA priority pathogens and enable low-cost, scalable, CLIA-waivable use in both pediatric and adult populations. Seeks to support developing and characterizing of advanced in vitro platforms that replicate components of vital human tissues and the immune system and their interactions under homeostatic conditions.
Submissions that qualify for this funding shall preferably focus on engineering 3-D in vitro human microphysiological systems (MPS) representing various tissues with immune component(s) integrated on a single platform.
