OSLN Grant Program - Ohio STEM Learning Network Creating new, sustainable STEM learning projects The OSLN STEM Education Grant Program, funded by Battelle, supports schools in expanding and sustaining high-quality STEM learning across Ohio. Over the past four years, this program has supported classroom-level innovation through teacher-led STEM projects. The program is changing this year.
For the next round of awards, the program will build on its past success and shift to a systems-level approach. Grants will now be awarded to schools helping to scale impactful STEM practices. This competitive grant opportunity is designed to accelerate sustainable change, helping schools evolve into hubs of interdisciplinary, career-connected teaching and learning.
Additionally, the grant’s timing has moved. Applications will now be due in March, awarding before Summer 2027. This shift will provide awardees the complete 2027-2028 year for implementation, helping extend the program’s impact.
This is a WONDERFUL opportunity for schools like mine that are just beginning to explore STEM and how we can incorporate these deeper learning experiences for our students.
