Baxter International Foundation Grant Process | Baxter Baxter International Foundation Grant Process Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from our Foundation. We are pleased to announce our 2018 grant cycle is open beginning July 26, and will close at 11:59PM Central Standard Time on September 20.

As we are opening one grant cycle for the 2018 year, it is extended in duration to eight weeks to allow for additional time for your organization to apply.

Priority is given to support community initiatives where Baxter employees live and work.

Frequently Asked Questions Foundation Grant Program Guidelines The following activities are not eligible for support from the Foundation and include, but are not limited to: Activities that directly influence or advance our company’s business Galas, golf outings, award dinners or similar fundraisers Unrestricted general operating support Capital campaigns, including new construction, facility renovations and endowments Individual fellowship/tuition support for training purposes of healthcare professionals Individuals seeking Baxter support for themselves, patients and/or healthcare professionals to travel, attend training, participate in conferences/symposia or go to school Entertainment of any kind; this includes admission to amusement parks, concerts, sporting events, museums, etc. General expenses for individuals and/or patients such as insurance co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance, utilities, housing, food or travel Lobbying and political contributions Fraternal, political or religious organizations or campaigns Events and programs that have already taken place or are due to take place prior to The Baxter International Foundation grant cycle Organizations that discriminate based on race, religion, age, national origin, veteran’s status or disability, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or marital status The following activities are potentially available for financial support from other Baxter funding channels: Physician medical mission trip or outreach support.

Requests for Baxter product for medical mission trips should be made through our partner, Americares . Continuing Medical Education : providing continuing education to healthcare professionals. Grants are for education activities to further expand or provide updates in a particular area.

These may include symposia, workshops or congresses. (accredited or non-accredited) These grants are not for individual scholarships, rather for a training session that is supported by a healthcare organization. Please direct all inquiries to [email protected] .

Contributions Management Program : U.S.-based Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) seeking funding to enhance healthcare delivery, increase access to patient care, and foster an understanding and education of therapeutic and disease states.

Please direct all inquiries to [email protected] . Foundation Grant Application Process For your convenience, our grant application process has moved to a new online portal managed by CyberGrants, allowing for a more streamlined process. All applicants will need to register with the new portal.

Please note during the open grant cycle our team is unable to provide critiques or pre-reads of proposals. The first step of the process is to complete the eligibility quiz . Upon completion, you will be notified immediately regarding your eligibility.

If eligible, you will be automatically directed to either the community/healthcare grant application or the education grant application. The next step is to complete the application. * Please note the portal allows you to save your work and return to your grant application at a future time, within the open grant cycle, to complete and submit your proposal.

Proposals should be submitted before 11:59PM Central time on September 20. During the application process CyberGrants will collect the names and addresses of your board of directors, as well as the top five paid employees within your organization for the purpose(s) of conducting due diligence as required under the U.S. Patriot Act of 2001, as well as applicable governmental sanctions and watch lists.

html . Upon completion of our review process, you will be notified regarding the disposition of your grant request. The entire review and decision-making process may take up to eight weeks after the close of the grant cycle.

Funds will be disbursed for approved requests following that window, assuming all proper documentation has been received.
