California Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET) | Office of National Marine Sanctuaries California Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET) The B-WET program anticipates a funding opportunity will be available in 2026, please visit the National B-WET website for more information The California B-WET program partners with schools and school districts in select counties and watersheds in the state.
The California B-WET program supports opportunities for students to have a direct, meaningful, mutually nurturing relationship with the outdoors and the natural world. Selected projects support environment-based education for teachers and students that advances the California Environmental Principles and Concepts and provides " meaningful" watershed educational experiences to students, teachers, and communities.
Recognizing that an educated community is the key to understanding and sustaining the Nation's ocean and coastal environments, NOAA has developed B-WET into a national program . For more information contact: seaberry. nachbar@noaa.
