Foundation application deadlines are November 30 for January consideration and May 31 for July consideration Organization should be tax exempt under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Codes Supporting documentation in the form of the IRS determination letter (IRS Letter 1045), IRS Form W-9, and your EIN number are required Organization must support the communities we serve (counties with a retail member center location), with money staying in those communities, without being processed by a national organization.

Our hope is to be able to support community projects both large and small, and bring awareness to the many good things happening in our communities every day. Nominations now open. Currently accepting nominations until May 31, 2026.
Project Spotlight is a charitable giving campaign that allows you to nominate local charities, non-for-profits and community projects for the potential to earn funding from Beacon Credit Union. First we ask community members to submit their local projects and organizations that they feel deserve support. Then we open up the voting process and have each community vote to support their favorite organization.
With your help and participation, we’ll be providing donations to charitable organizations and projects in our communities in Indiana! ($1,750 split between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each of our 16 communities in which we have a full-service retail location). Riley Children’s Foundation Over the past 23 years, Beacon Credit Union has raised over $500,000 for Riley Children’s Health.
Riley Children’s Foundation raises funds statewide to ensure all children have equitable access to exceptional healthcare regardless of their family’s ability to pay. The Homeless Youth Program is a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services that funds services for homeless and at-risk youth across Illinois.
