Behavioral Health Supervision Support is sponsored by Arcora Foundation (through the Behavioral Health Forum). This funding supports provider organizations with master's level behavioral health staff with supervision so that staff can gain critical licensure and the region can build supervision capacity.

Behavioral Health Workforce Iniatives - Arcora Foundation Behavioral Health Forum Workforce Initiatives The Behavioral Health Forum is a convening body for organizations that provide behavioral health services, enhance the behavioral health workforce, or interact with other ways with behavioral health systems in Eastern Washington. In 2022, the Forum engaged in a participatory budgeting process to allocate $1.

2 million of integrated managed care funds to 12 initiatives that support the behavioral health workforce. This funding is available to eligible organizations and individuals as determined by Forum members. Workforce Recruitment & Retention Behavioral Health Supervision Support Funding to support provider organizations with master’s level behavioral health (including SUD) staff with supervision so that staff can gain critical licensure and the region can build supervision capacity. Funding is up to $10,000 per applicant organization with $150,000 total available.

Partners can design their request based on their organization’s needs with in the funding parameters, and funding decisions are based on meeting eligibility requirements (not a competitive process).

Potential areas for funding include contracting for outside supervision, offsetting lost billable hours for internal supervisors providing supervision, supervision-related materials, exam feels, license fees, and training costs for providers to become supervisors. Organization Stipends for Expanding Internship Opportunities Funding goes directly to organizations who are adding practicum or internship students. This is intended to increase the number of intern slots at an organization and can either add to an existing internship program or provide financial support to start one. Application information and additional details coming soon.

SUDP Alternative Certification Funding Funding covers the cost for eligible providers who are completing the SUDP Alternative Certification program through the Community Colleges of Spokane. SFCC BAS-Integrated Behavioral Health Scholarships Financial support for the first cohort in this new (fall 2023 start date) program at Spokane Falls Community College.

Peers & Community Health Workers Certified Peer Counselor Trainings At approximately $20,000 per training, funds three Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) trainings specifically for Eastern Washington candidates. Dates and registration information TBD Peer/CHW Topical Trainings: Culture, Accessibility Arranged by the Eastern Washington CHW Network, these dollars fund training opportunities for Peers and Community Health Workers.

Dates and registration information TBD Peer Practicum/Internship Model Pilot Pilot for an internship that supports Peers in skill-building following their initial CPC training and certification. This supports Peers in putting skills into practice and in building advanced skills as a Peer. Additional details – registration or application information for organizations?

For Peers? Training and technical assistance for individuals supervising peers in non-peer-focused organizations. Intended to build understanding of the peer role and to support peers and supervisors in creating healthy work environments and providing highly effective services.
