This funding opportunity is aimed at increasing the workforce through pipeline programming Behavioral Health Workforce Transition Funding Opportunity Funding under this program can be used to pilot new or expand existing pipeline programs to support students in the transition from undergraduate to graduate programs that prepare graduates for licensure in behavioral health professions (specifically counseling, social work and psychology) Campus Mental Health Grants Funding under this program will be directed at improving student mental health on college campuses through implementation of evidence based programming.

West Virginia Community and Technical College System - PERKINS Collaborative Reserve Grant West Virginia’s Department of Education and Community and Technical College System are offering grants, made possible by federal Perkins funds, to support collaborations in career and technical education between K-12 schools and community and technical colleges With $785,000 available in its inaugural year, the Perkins Collaborative Reserve Grant program will support projects that include at least one of the following pr iorities: Dual enrollment for students to explore and engage in college and careers; Work-based learning and skills in high-need workforce areas; and, Industry-recognized credentials to align with business and industry standards Program that provides expert online tutoring, test prep, and job support for West Virginia public library patrons across the state.
This is a no-cost 1-to-1 assistance for all ages. The program is available 10:00am - 10:00pm. Services offered include, For students - TutorWV offers online, on-demand , expert tutoring and homework help in more than 200 subjects, along with drop-off review services for essays and math problems.
For test takers - TutorWV provides live tutoring help for standardized exams such as the GED, ASVAB, and AP. The program offers self-guided resources, practice quizzes, video lessons, and test-preparation resources for The Princeton Review, including SAT, ACT, self-paced courses, MCAT and LSAT practice exams and others.
