Projects can include breaking barriers for people with fewer opportunities such as young people with migrant background, ethnic minorities, disadvantaged, marginalized or underprivileged groups, people with a disability, individuals with difficult social, economic or educational backgrounds, people with a disability, health problems or cultural differences, etc… This #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards will also support gender equality and contribute to Peace through the integration of migrants and refugees.
Eligibility is limited to any organisation or public authority (individuals are not eligible) which has successfully developed a sport project aimed at social inclusion, carried out in the EU Member States or third countries associated to the programme. Actions must take place in Europe. The total prize budget is 45,000€.
Each of the three categories will award 15,000€ with 10,000€ to the winner and 2,500€ to the two finalists (ranked 2nd and 3rd) (hereafter “the winners”). The application deadline is 25 September 2024. A full proposal must be submitted online.
