If so, please refer to this list of eligible CBT activities: Community Based Training (CBT) Approval Information (English) Betty Gray Endowment - Early Childhood Development Fund of Oregon Community Foundation The purpose of the Betty Gray (BG) Early Childhood Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance for eligible training and education expenses to early childhood professionals in Oregon.

The Betty Gray scholarship has been generously funded by the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) and administered by the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (OCCD). The scholarship funding is allocated annually, and applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available.

Betty Gray Scholarship Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for the Betty Gray (BG) scholarship, you must: Work directly with children or supervise staff who work directly with children at least 20 hours a week in a Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) licensed facility (Registered Family, Certified Family, or Certified Center), or Baby/Preschool Promise program, Tribal child care, or an ERDC active facility.

Be at an Oregon Registry Step 1 or above. Applicants for this Scholarship will receive an automatic evaluation for an Oregon Registry Step 1 or 2 if you do not already have one. Betty Gray Scholarship Coverage Scholarship awards are based on Oregon Registry Step.

If you are at a Step 1 through 8. 5, you may covered for: CDA Credential initial application fee. Up to $525 of initial application fee is covered.

Conference registration fees. Cohort training registration fees. Cohort training registration fees must be approved by the Oregon Registry Trainer Program (ORTP) and offered by a state supported CCR&R or any of the conference sponsors listed above.

Oregon Community College transcription. Transcription, also known as credit for prior learning, can help a CDA credential or Registry Step 7 be recognized for community college credit. Please contact us before applying for this activity.

Oregon Community College tuition. Tuition up to 5 credits per term in the field of early childhood education is covered. Please register for the class and include proof of registration with your application.

ORIMHA Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement fees. If you’re at a Step 1 through 12, you may be covered for: Translation (if needed) and evaluation of eligible Degrees/ Coursework completed outside of the US. Please include your educational documents with your application.

If you’re at a Step 9 through 12, you may be covered for: Advanced Cohort training series The training series must be organized by state supported CCR&Rs and/or approved professional organizations that support the Oregon QRIS. Please send us your application before the training.

Scholarship funds are available for the ECE workforce to evaluate a degree or coursework completed outside of the United States and/or to cover the tuition and relevant fees towards an ECE specific degree, credential or certificate.

The Early Learning Degree Pathway Scholarship is administered by the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (OCCD) with funding provided by the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC). Early Learning Degree Pathway Scholarship Eligibility To be eligible for Early Learning Degree Pathway Scholarship, you must: Have an Oregon Registry Online (ORO) account For applicants seeking translation and evaluation coverage, your degree and/or coursework completed outside of the United States must be related to the field of ECE.

For applicants seeking tuition coverage, you must have declared a major or minor in a ECE specific degree, credential or certificate track and registered for a minimum of six credits towards your ECE degree or certificate, while also maintaining an overall GPA of 2. 5 or above.

Though current employment is not required, applicants already working in the field of ECE should be in a position of direct classroom teaching, mentoring, coaching, consultation, mental health specialist, quality improvement specialist, and inclusion specialist.

The scholarship will focus on providing access to professional development for individuals living in or working in early childhood education within Multnomah County, Oregon. The Hadiyah Miller Scholarship is administered by the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education with funding provided by Multnomah County’s Preschool for All (PFA) Initiative. The Oregon Family Child Care Scholarship is administered by the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education with funding provided for by the 2025-27 Collective Bargaining Agreement between the State of Oregon and AFSCME/Oregon Child Care Providers Together. Scholarships are available first come, first served. Funds are limited and availability may change.

Scholarship awards will be discontinued if funds are unavailable. Individual awards are not transferable and may expire.

Oregon Family Child Care Scholarship Eligibility If you are the Provider named on an Oregon Registered Family or Certified Family Child Care license, you may be eligible for scholarships to help pay for the following professional development opportunities: Coursework must be eligible undergraduate and graduate level through public institutions of higher education in Oregon.

Trainings must be approved by the Oregon Registry Trainer Program (ORTP) as Set Two or Set Three and offered by an ORTP registered Sponsoring Organization. Conference Registration fees. The conferences must be provided by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) and their state affiliates.

Credential, Endorsement, Accreditation. CDA credential initial application fee (includes the exam), ORIMHA IMH-E ® endorsement application and first year membership fees for Infant Family Associate and Infant Family Specialist, and NAFCC accreditation and membership fees.
