BHSA Prevention and Early Intervention Mini Grants | Solano County, California BHSA Prevention and Early Intervention Mini Grants Solano County Behavioral Health and NAMI Solano County will be offering a limited number of mini grants of up to $1,000 each through the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) program.
Mini-grants will be awarded to faith centers, school sites, and other community-based organizations that participate in efforts to combat mental health stigma, engage in suicide prevention, and increase access to mental health services and support for Solano County residents. Grants must be used for prevention and/or early intervention activities and are subject to all State MHSA PEI funding guidelines.

The California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA), in collaboration with Solano County Behavioral Health, is seeking proposals for community-driven mental health awareness events taking place during May in recognition of Mental Health Month .
Using Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) funding , grants of $2,500–$5,000 will support one-time event programming across Solano County that promotes: Mental wellness and connection Priority Focus: BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other historically underserved communities.
Eligible Applicants: Individuals, community-based organizations, cultural centers, advocacy groups, and grassroots organizations proposing culturally responsive activities such as: Wellness or fitness events Requirements: Funded projects must align with MHSA PEI priorities, including outreach and education, prevention, stigma reduction, and suicide prevention.
