The training programs address the need for bioinformatics research expertise in the H3Africa Consortium, resulting in sustainable centers of bioinformatics research training relevant to global health research for the African continent. gov H3Africa is a partnership between the Alliance for Accelerating Excellence in Science in Africa (AESA) with support from African Society of Human Genetics and NIH.
