Funding Opportunity: DTRA- Multi Topic On September 22, 2025, the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC), in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), posted the announcement for the "Advancing Biodefense Readiness: On-Demand Biologics, Automated Threat Detection, and Alternative for Testing Medical Countermeasures in High Containment" effort (also known as the DTRA Multi-Topic) on the MTEC website and a notice will be posted on http://www.
sam. gov/ to notify interested parties.
This announcement is for a Request for Project Proposals (RPP) focused on advancing the following medical and bioengineering technologies: Focus Area #1: Biologics On Demand Focus Area #2: Automated Clinical and/or Environmental Sampling, Sequencing, and Analysis Focus Area #3: Alternative Methods for Testing Medical Countermeasures (MCMs) in High Containment Focus Area #4: Microphysiological Alternatives for Gauging Pretreatment Immunogenicity and Efficacy (MAGPIE) White Papers are due on October 28, 2025 at Noon Eastern Time.
