Black Entrepreneur Training Academy (BETA) is a five-month cohort-based virtual training program to equip, support, and resource Black entrepreneurs. Providing low-barrier access to capital alongside education is key to the success of Black Businesses. BETA is a Black Wall Street Kalamazoo and Sisters in Business intentional collaboration.
Black Entrepreneur Training Academy (BETA) The curriculum for the live BETA course includes six modules, facilitated by experts and delivered through a combination of pre-recorded video and live virtual sessions. This consists of two required sessions each week.
The sessions are broken down into a one-hour instructional video, available to begin viewing on Saturday each week, and a one-hour hands-on live workshop on Thursdays each week, anticipated to be at 7:00 p. m. EST.
Upon successful graduation, each participant will have the chance to pitch for capital of up to $5,000. BETA University is a self directed community-based online educational webinar program. You will be able to apply these principles and take action immediately.

The BETA modules include the following: — Business Structure and Development — Six Business Development Modules with trained business experts — Technical Assistance (QuickBooks) — Up to $5,000 in business grants — Ongoing access to virtual portal — Direct access to entrepreneurial support organizations — Opportunity to participate in other SIBs and BWSK programs High-level business development and sustainability education Business training, personal development, technical support, financial counseling Financial capital, mentorship, access to professional services, cohorts, community connections
