Non-profit organizations that are not Black-led (i.e., where fewer than two thirds of leadership and governance self-identify as Black). Organizations whose mission, programming, and outcomes are not focused on supporting Black communities.

New users must register their account first. Step 2: Create and complete the application Start a new application in MyACOA.

Complete the Organizational Profile and Project Information modules. Upload all required supporting documents. Follow the instructions in MyACOA to submit the application.

A copy of the submitted application remains available in the account. Applications are acknowledged after receipt, including a project number and assigned program officer. ACOA reviews the application based on the information and documents provided and may request more details.

A funding decision is made once the assessment is complete, in line with ACOA service standards. The program is closed and no longer accepting applications. ACOA Business Information Services can help applicants find the right support.
