While Bloomberg Philanthropies typically funds through invitations and strategic partnerships rather than open calls, the program is active in cities across the globe with a focus on sustainable cultural ecosystems.

A New Round of the Norwegian Scholarship Programme for Ukrainian Writers is sponsored by Ukrainian PEN, The Norwegian Non-Fiction Writers and Translators Association, the Norwegian Helsinki Committee and the Norwegian Writers' Union, within the framework of The Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine. This program offers scholarships to Ukrainian writers to support the creation of new works that reflect on the war experience, rethink Ukrainian culture, foster deeper understanding of Ukrainian culture, and highlight the diversity of cultures and lived experiences. It supports authors in non-fiction, fiction, and children's/young adult literature.
