[Canada-Wide] BMO Community Grants (deadline: Sept 30, 2026) - Healthy Aging CORE Alberta [Canada-Wide] BMO Community Grants (deadline: Sept 30, 2026) In 2024, BMO gave $108 million* to more than 1,000 nonprofits and charities across our footprint. In 2024, our employees gave over $39 million to charitable organizations across North America during our annual campaign, including $11 million to the United Way .
Over the past five years, BMO employees donated over $130 million to charities across North America. * Includes cash donations, valuation of volunteer time and program management. All amounts are stated in Canadian dollars unless otherwise noted.
BMO’s employee and community giving aims to support programs and initiatives in the following areas: Community and economic resilience : including support for financial literacy, skills development, social services, education, health equity and accessible arts and cultural programming.
Environmental resilience: including conservation efforts, alternative energy projects in low-income neighbourhoods, public awareness and education campaigns and innovative new research efforts. How to request a donation or event sponsorship BMO has a long history of supporting registered charities and non-profit organizations across our footprint.
Funding applications are accepted online and are considered if you have a program or project that aligns with our focus areas and meets our eligibility criteria. Grant applications are accepted online during the following periods in 2026:
